The Panamera Incident: Tobi’s Whimsical Night in Thonglor
There’s an unspoken rule in Bangkok’s Thonglor district: If you spot something absolutely fantastic, you must share it with the world. Such was the case when our very own Somphon, an unsuspecting adventurer of the night, stumbled upon a gleaming gem amidst the city’s neon chaos.
Yesterday evening, Tobi was navigating his post-dinner walk in Thonglor. (Word on the street is he might’ve indulged a tad too much in spicy papaya salad, but who’s keeping track?). Now, Tobi is no stranger to sending quirky updates to his friend for the ‘Karkrub Blog’, a local hotspot for hilarious anecdotes and offbeat tales from around Bangkok. So, when he spotted the majestic 2023 Porsche Panamera glowing brighter than a full moon, he couldn’t resist.
He promptly pulled out his phone, aimed, and snapped a photo. But, in true Somphon style, this was no ordinary car photo. You see, in the foreground was his trusty spoon – the very one he had gloriously balanced on his nose earlier that day. That spoon was given its own little moment of fame, lying playfully on the Porsche’s hood.
He captioned the photo: “When your spoon dreams bigger than you. #PanameraAdventures #DinnerSpoonsinThonglor #PleaseDontScratch.”
Tobi immediately sent the photo to his buddy who runs the Karkrub Blog.
Tobi’s photo had transformed the streets of Thonglor into a playful treasure hunt.
